Jamba Juice at Home

Louisville Jamba JuiceAfter waiting almost four years (longer for Ruthanne) , we finally have a Jamba Juice in Louisville!

Having never really lived without one nearby, I was probably too excited when we stumbled upon one in downtown Louisville a few weeks ago. We were headed to dinner at another favorite and new to Louisville place, so didn’t stop for a smoothie that night, but I have been thinking about one ever since!

Andrew and I went for breakfast Saturday morning, but sadly don’t have any pictures as our camera has died. The fruity smell and green tiled walls were a welcome reminder of all the time I have spent in a Jamba Juice, including the month or so I basically lived off of while waiting to have my wisdom teeth removed.

But, for those of you who still don’t have one, here is one of our knock off recipes: banana blueberry.

Banana Berry @ Home

1 sliced frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 milk

Blend ingredient together until smooth and enjoy!

{if your blueberries or banana aren’t frozen, or the smoothie is too thin, just add a few ice cubes to the blender and mix in}
